Framing Hanley
This group has been tearing it up on commercial radio with their cover, and very different version of Lil' Wayne's Lollipop.  What a crazy
sound, from the opening guitar lick mimicking the original version's synth sound, to the hard edgy vocals.  The only word to describe it
is addictive.

Turns out, according to lead singer Nixon, the song was really just done kind of as a joke.  Some joke.huh?  The song has been getting
consistent airplay on rock stations around the country.

It opened our eyes here at Octave Match and we immediately sought out an interview with Nixon after reviewing the group's entire debut
LP, The Moment.  We were impressed to say the least.  So much so that we couldn't wait to post the interview.  Give a listen.  You won't
be disappointed!

Nashville based quintet
Framing Hanley formed in
2005 and released their
first studio LP, "The
Moment" in August 2007.
Their music has hard
overtones with vocals
from Kenneth Nixon that
flow between melodically
beautiful to the perfect
rocking screech.  The
music is hard but never
tired and is clearly well
produced.
